experienced, passionate and hands-on DevSecOps/Platforms Engineer,
to join the Enterprise Software Verticals (ESV) organization
located in Arlington, Virginia | North Charleston, South Carolina |
Mesa, Arizona | El Segundo, California | Plano, Texas | Berkeley,
MO | Colorado Springs, CO | Denver, CO | Fairfax, VA. In this role,
you will be part of a team that enables the Boeing Enterprise
transformation of DevSecOps across our business units. This
position requires the candidate to have an SRE mindset and to be
actively involved in the continuous improvement of the platform and
tools. As an integral member of our Platform Engineering team, you
will operate multiple DevSecOps environments within AWS. You will
collaborate closely with software engineers, cloud and
infrastructure operations, cybersecurity teams, and various tool
vendors to build and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient
runtime environments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling
that empower Boeing engineering teams throughout all phases of the
certified Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Our teams are
currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including:
Associate, Mid-Level and Senior DevSecOps/Platform Engineers.
Position Responsibilities: - Architects, designs, develops,
documents, and maintains standardized, efficient, and innovative
processes, platforms, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics
to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable
continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety-critical
software across multi-cloud and data center environments. -
Deploys, configures, and maintains a suite of tools essential to
support safety-critical software development. - Automates
deployment processes, monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes the
performance of infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of all
tools into the CI/CD pipelines. - Implements monitoring and
observability solutions to ensure the reliability and performance
of environments. - Collaborates with cybersecurity and
infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to security best practices
and compliance requirements. - Analyzes, plans, and executes
mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats,
and vulnerabilities. - Works closely with other engineering and
cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and continuously improve
the developer experience, providing support and guidance on using
available tools and services, while maintaining robust, scalable,
and secure software engineering platforms. - Contributes to the
ongoing improvement of infrastructure and processes, identifying
opportunities for automation and efficiency. - Implements current
and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in
the software engineering DevSecOps environment. We work in a casual

you from consideration. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/
Experience): - 2 yrs of hands-on experience in AWS, with a strong
focus on modern DevSecOps and GitOps practices. - 2 yrs in
Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies, enabling
efficient deployment and management of applications. - Experience
in Configuration as Code (CaC), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and
automation frameworks, enabling scalable and reliable
infrastructure management. - 2 yrs of experience using Agile
methodologies, contributing to iterative and collaborative project
delivery. - 2 yrs experience in software development Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Bachelor of Science
degree from an accredited course of study in engineering,
engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering
technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or
computer science - Strong communication skills and a self-starter
who can thrive in a distributed remote work environment. -
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). - AWS Certified Solutions
Architect. - Familiarity with designing and implementing full stack
and scalable microservices infrastructure. - Experience working
with and supporting systems running on Linux Operating Systems
(OS), ensuring optimal performance and reliability. - Proven
experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of setting up, configuring,
and managing tools such as GitLab, Docker, and others in a
cloud/kubernetes hosting environment - Working knowledge of the
CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of
software tools. - Understanding of secure software development
methodologies and a Security First mindset. Travel: 10% Drug Free

experience and qualifications, as well as market and business
considerations. Summary pay range for Associate: $85,000.00 -
$123,050.00 Summary pay range for Experienced: $104,550.00 -
$151,800.00 Summary pay range for Senior: $119,000.00 - $177,100.00
