Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company providing complete engineering services and full lifecycle System Engineering services in high performance computing, large data analytics, and advanced information technologies.Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.Qualifications:Master's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.ORBachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of relevant SWE experience.ORNine (9) years of experience as a SWE in similar scope, type, and complexity programs.Position Description:The Software Engineer will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot a suite of software applications and future capabilities as needed. Responsibilities include implementation, testing, and integration with COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries. The candidate must understand the software development life cycle.Position Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Developing scripts with Bash/Python
• Developing Java applications in Linux environment
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Data, and Integration)
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Experience with containerization (Docker, containerd)
• Familiarity with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Bamboo and GitLab CI
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Ansible
• Experience with Git Source ControlDesired Skills:
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm Charts
  • Experience with Log Management systems like Loki
