Leidos is a subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that provides hardware and software sustainment of large IT systemsContractors perform dataflow changes, lifecycle management including modernization of aging hardware and software, as well as system monitoringThe work is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologiesWe provide exceptional service to our customer in an area in which we have deep incumbent knowledgeJob Summary The System Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systemsManages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systemsProvides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etcProvides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problemsProvides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersProvides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processConfigures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceThe ideal candidate for this position must have experience -with Linux, VMware, kvm virtualization, storage arrays (NetApp), Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes, GitLab, DNS, NTP, FreeIPA, STE/STN tools LatteArt, and NessusRequired Qualifications--- Five (5) years of relevant professional experience providing system administration support.
* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline5 years of additional SA experience may substitute for a degree.
* An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
* TS/SCI with Polygraph (Polygraph within the last 5 years.)
* Experience with:
