to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Martinsburg, West Virginia,

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Description: Unit consists of two
floors: one with 20 private beds and another with 22 beds, both
providing Telemetry acuity care. Future plans may include
transitioning one floor to a Stepdown unit with higher acuity
patients. Nurses are expected to care for a patient ratio of 1:5
for both day and night shifts. Charge Nurse duties may vary daily,
with a floating Charge Nurse between the two floors. Nurse aides
are provided at a ratio of 3 PCTs per floor when fully staffed.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, with night shifts
on Friday and Saturday. Holidays may be scheduled based on unit
needs, but efforts will be made to avoid scheduling travelers on
these days. Scrub colors are navy blue or white, with guidelines
regarding hair color and body art. Telemetry monitoring is
conducted using advanced cardiac monitors, and nurses are expected
to document findings. Nurses perform routine evaluations on various
drips and patient conditions, including administering medications
according to established protocols. In-house support from pharmacy
and respiratory therapy is available around the clock. Use of Epic
is required for charting patient information. Floating to other
departments is rare but may occur in specific situations.
Floor-specific orientation will be provided based on experience.
Common diagnoses include elevated troponin levels, STEMI,
post-cardiac procedures, and various medical conditions managed
within a telemetry setting. Nurses will have opportunities for
