Job Description:
Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join
our team of healthcare professionals providing exceptional care to
patients recuperating from significant illnesses and injuries. Our
facility emphasizes an integrated care approach that strives to
enhance patient outcomes significantly. This role requires a
compassionate individual capable of managing various patient care
tasks under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as dressing wounds,
administering medications, and monitoring vital signs Collaborate
with registered nurses and physicians to implement comprehensive
care plans for patients Document patient care services and update
records with the latest findings and treatments Assist in the
examination, diagnostic, and treatment processes Educate and update
patients and their families on medical conditions and proper care
at home Ensure the healthcare facility’s procedures and safety
protocols are strictly followed Strong practical skills in basic
patient care and medication administration Excellent verbal and
written communication skills Ability to follow detailed
instructions and maintain accurate records Compassionate and
patient-centric approach Proficient in using healthcare software
and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Current LPN or LVN license in the state of employment CPR/BLS
certification is required
