Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience with rotating day and night shifts. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital setting - Patient population includes those requiring medical-surgical, telemetry, and cardiac telemetry level care - Schedule consists of 3x12 hour rotating day and night shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) - Every other weekend is required - Floating to ICU and Med Surg may be required - Responsibilities include caring for IMC patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs - Team structure may involve floating to different units as needed - Every other weekend and rotating shifts are standard - Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted /n /n Requirements/n - Active MD or Compact RN license required - Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required - Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required - Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms - First-time travelers are accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-655872.
