Job Description:
ChristianaCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient
Care Technicians I and II (PCT)(CNA) to join our teams in Delaware,
offering support in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
This role involves working closely with nurses and other medical
staff to provide daily care needs, monitor patient health, and
ensure the comfort of patients through thoughtful, dedicated

the health of those we serve. Provide basic patient care under the
direction of nursing staff including, but not limited to, bathing,
grooming, feeding, and assisting patients with mobility and
transportation. Record and monitor vital signs, reporting any
changes in patient conditions to the supervising nurse promptly.
Assist in the collection and documentation of patient data such as
fluid intake and output. Support the overall cleanliness and
readiness of patient rooms and clinical areas. Engage with patients
and their families, providing emotional support and basic
information on patient care when needed. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Basic understanding of patient care and
medical terminology High level of compassion and empathy Ability to
work effectively in a team-oriented environment Reliability and
professionalism in handling confidential information Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
BLS/CPR certification preferable.
