Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/04/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Cath Lab Location: WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, 1 Hospital Dr, Lewisburg, PA 17837 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/04/2025 Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Call Requirements: 8-10 days per month, including 1 weekend per month (may increase to cover vacations) Position Overview: The Cath Lab RN provides specialized nursing care in cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures. This includes patient pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure care within a 7-bed Procedure Care Unit. Responsibilities include assisting with cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and managing complex patient needs including COVID-positive patients. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver safe, competent, and patient-centered care during cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures. - Provide pre- and post-procedure care in the Procedure Care Unit. - Assist with cardioversions, TEEs, and other special cardiac procedures. - Respond effectively to emergencies and participate in unit-specific care protocols. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services. - Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. - Participate in call rotation and weekend coverage as required. - Adhere to facility policies, including tobacco and fragrance-free guidelines. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiac cath lab or similar procedural environment. - Current PA RN license or multi-state license in-hand. - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS preferred. - EPIC experience is required/preferred. - Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with call responsibilities. - Ability to respond to weekends and holiday shifts as needed. - Commitment to tobacco and fragrance-free workplace policies.
