Pharmacy, consistent with the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine,
places a priority on teaching, research and patient care. At Johns
Hopkins Hospital, the department is responsible for providing acute
care pharmacy services for a diverse population of medical,
surgical, oncology, and pediatric patients, with additional
services provided within the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and
affiliated clinics. Within the department, there are 70 acute care
and primary care clinical pharmacy specialists as well as 32
general and specialized pharmacy residents. /n This position serves
in the Pediatric Pharmacy Division which provides comprehensive
pharmacy services to all pediatric patients at The Johns Hopkins
Hospital, the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Rubenstein Clinic.
Applicants are preferred to have completed, or be in the process of
completing, an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency program or have
equivalent experience. This Clinical Pharmacist 1 is responsible
for working collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care
teams to promote the safe and effective use of medications during
the medication order review and verification process as well as
addressing clinical pharmacy questions and concerns and completing
therapeutic drug monitoring for high risk medications. Additional
responsibilities for the position include: medication management,
emergency code response, care coordination, drug information
response, and education to students, residents, pharmacists, other
health care practitioners and patients and family members. There is
not typically a routine rounding component to this position. /n

from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm. D. or BS
degree. /n - Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or
equivalent experience is desired. /n - Current licensure as a
pharmacist in the State of Maryland required. /n - Hospital and
departmental education requirements completed within 90 days of
hire. ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired. /n - Previous
clinical health-system experience is desired. /n /n Salary Range:
Minimum $51.02/hour - Maximum $????84.26/hour. Compensation will be
commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope
and responsibility. /n/n In cases where the range is displayed as a

calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held
