This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running and consistently deliver top-quality service. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with residential pool service, equipment repair, and customer interaction, and takes pride in earning 5-star reviews. Key Responsibilities Perform weekly pool maintenance, including vacuuming floors, steps, walls, tiles, and cleaning pump baskets Test pool water and properly balance water chemistry Perform pool start-ups, openings, closings, and pool schools Diagnose, repair, and replace pool equipment (warranty experience a plus) Program Hayward OmniLogic systems and other controllers Document pool conditions and repair needs clearly Communicate professionally with customers and management Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience as a Pool Service Technician (required) Strong mechanical aptitude Knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, and minor electrical systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented High School Diploma or GED required Valid Virginia drivers license and clean DMV record Background check required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting) Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Availability to work some Saturdays during spring and summer Willingness to assist construction crews during winter months
