Job Description:
Payment Policy Analytics LeadKey RoleLeverage expertise in
medical payment policy, quality and performance measurement,
alternative payment models, and healthcare finance. Advise clients
and lead teams in the design and execution of methodologies to
evaluate health care payment reform initiatives, including
episode-based alternative payment models and population based
payment models. Lead and grow a team of analysts with the
responsibility to perform advanced analyses and studies of health
care claims data.Basic Qualifications:7+ years of experience using
quantitative methods to answer health care policy and programmatic
questionsExperience leading in the development and implementation
of statistical modelsExperience with common statistical software
packagesExperience analyzing health data, including healthcare
claims, health records, and provider dataExperience working with
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) programs,
including alternative payment modelsKnowledge of health insurance
payment processes, risk adjustment, and pricing
methodologiesKnowledge of various CMS environments and systems,
including Integrated Data Repository (IDR) and Chronic Conditions
Warehouse (CCW)Ability to lead creation of technical documentation
for complex health care finance projects and communicate clearly
with both technical and non-technical audiences to explain complex
methodologies and present findings and recommendationsPublic
TrustMasters degree in a Quantitative field, such as Mathematics,
Economics, Finance, or StatisticsAdditional
Qualifications:Experience with the federal procurement and proposal
processKnowledge of the U.S. health care finance system and payment
policy issues impacting the U.S. health care systemAbility to
manage staff and oversee complex projects and analytic

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individuals particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00
to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents
the typical salary range for this position and is just one
component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
